Why should my school participate?

The football festival provides a great opportunity for children to integrate with and compete against children of the same age across their region. The fun, friendly and well organised event will send children home happy with a medal and the memories of a brilliant day out.
About the tournament:

The tournament is open to all Year 5 and 6 pupil’s boys and girls; the maximum number of children in each team is 9 players 6 in the starting team and 3 substitutes. We have invited numerous schools around the local area to give the opportunity to participate to as many schools as possible.
On the day:

The Tournament will start at 10.00am so we suggest you arrive by the latest at 9.30am for registration and preparation. After all of the group games have been completed there will be a break for lunch, children are to bring packed lunch and plenty to drink. After lunch a presentation will take place where every child will receive a Premier Sports Group medal. Teams that do not make it through to the next stage are welcome to stay and watch the rest of the tournament.
After the final has been played the two teams contesting the final will receive a winners or runner up trophy. We are aiming for the tournament to finish at 2.30pm so it gives the teachers enough time to get the children back to school for normal home time.
